Ready for printing: Bogler Container 1923B Storage tin by Theodor Bogler
Bogler's storage boxes from the Bauhaus Edition have a strictly cylindrical shape. This allows the individual ceramic containers to be placed close together, which saves space. The black letters give them that certain something.
You can choose between different storage vessels. The shape is always the same, what is different are the lettering. The choice is yours: Flour, coffee, sugar or rice.
Material and size
The Bogler storage box is made of high-quality white ceramics - in traditional handwork.
The 1923B storage can is 18 cm high, the diameter is 15 cm, the filling quantity 1.60 litres. It weighs 900 grams.
Sometimes life turns out differently than planned. This was also the case with Theodor Bogler, who actually wanted to become an architect. Instead, he trained as a potter at the Bauhaus, where he studied from 1919 to 1924. That's a good thing, because that's how he gained international renown. His prototypes are among the most expensive ceramics in the world today.
And the Bogler storage cans? They were originally designed for the kitchen of the model house Am Horn in Weimar!
