The Millimetro table lamp by Luceplan, designed by Daniel Rybakken, adds a sophisticated table model to the iconic luminaire family. A wafer-thin, reflective shade is supported by an elegant rod that balances the luminaire in an inclined position above the table surface. This rod not only provides structural support and visual definition, but also acts as an innovative touch sensor for the dimming and switching function on its upward-facing side. The flat LED light source discreetly attached to the back of the shade casts a soft, atmospheric glow onto the surface below, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Daniel Rybakken: Poetry of light and reduction
