The industrial designer Nani Marquina launched her eponymous label in 1987. With her modern carpets, she broke new ground in Spain at the time; there simply wasn't anything like it. To offer her customers the greatest possible variety, Nanimarquina works with national and international designers.
In addition, the deep respect for craftsmanship and the environment is one of the cornerstones of the manufacturer. All carpets are made in India, Pakistan and Nepal - countries with a great tradition in the production of handmade carpets. Here, the unusual designs are created in sustainable production and using natural and local materials.
With the support of two sustainable projects in India, the manufacturer has succeeded in offsetting its entire CO2 footprint, thus becoming the first carpet company to be certified as climate neutral.
