The Ambito side table is a masterpiece of functional elegance that makes optimum use of space with its clever C-shape. Its ingenious design allows it to be slid directly over the seat of a sofa or bed, creating a practical storage surface exactly where it is needed. While the top shelf offers space for a drink or a lamp, the lower, tub-shaped section serves as a stylish storage place for books, magazines or a blanket. - Materials: Frame, table top and lower shelf are made of sheet steel. In the linoleum and veneer versions, the table top is glued to the upper material. In the marble version, a two-layer marble top is inserted and the metal top is omitted
- Choice of colours: available in a selection of subtle, modern colours that allow the natural wood grain to shine through
- Construction: the characteristic C-shape allows the base of the table to be slid under sofas or armchairs to save space

Steffen Kehrle - master of material culture
The Ambito side table was created by renowned German designer Steffen Kehrle. Kehrle, who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts after completing his carpentry apprenticeship, founded his own studio in Munich in 2009. His work is characterised by a deep engagement with the material, a clear design language and a high level of functionality. Kehrle is known for creating products that tell a story and have a logical, almost self-evident appearance. He has received numerous awards for his designs, including the German Design Award and the iF Design Award.
