Hiromichi Konno - design that connects worlds

The Japanese product designer Hiromichi Konno worked for three years as an assistant designer for the renowned British designer Ross Lovegrove before setting up on his own in 2002, initially working in London. Since 2007, Konno has been back in his native Japan, where he works on various international projects in the field of furniture design and home accessories. His work is characterised by organic forms and a reduced, contemporary aesthetic that combines Japanese design traditions with European design language. With the Chat series, Konno has created a modular furniture family for Softline that impresses with its versatility and sculptural appearance.
