The designer brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni used this method as inspiration for their Gatto Piccolo table lamp in 1960, creating a lighting object that transcends mere functionality.

Material and format
The Gatto Piccolo table lamp consists of a white, powder-coated steel structure sprayed with the signature Cocoon resin and sealed with a transparent protective layer. It is powered by a 60W halogen bulb. Thanks to the integrated electronic dimmer on the cable, the light intensity can be flexibly adjusted at any time to create an atmospheric ambiance in any room.
