Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl
The Hippo sofa is the work of the two talented Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, who are known for their sculptural and minimalist designs. Inspired by the powerful yet gentle aesthetics of a hippopotamus, they have created a sofa that combines comfort and design in an inimitable way. With a special eye for proportions and materiality, the duo have succeeded in combining their Scandinavian design philosophy with unmistakable details and high functionality. NORR11 - Scandinavian design
The Danish furniture manufacturer NORR11 was founded in 2011. The company's focus is to redefine and rethink the understanding of Scandinavian design and thus create timeless pieces of furniture that combine the present and the past. The Hippo sofa with wooden frame has an overall height of 74 cm, a width of 235 cm and a depth of 100 cm, with a comfortable seat height of 42 cm. The frame is made of high-quality solid oak or walnut wood, which radiates warmth and stability thanks to its natural grain.
