The Myto from Plank is a design icon of the modern cantilever chair - minimalist, robust and graphically striking. The compact geometry ensures comfortable, slightly springy seating and a present yet unobtrusive appearance. Konstantin Grcic - precision, material culture, cultural impact
Konstantin Grcic completed a carpentry apprenticeship at Parnham College and a Master's degree at the Royal College of Art in London. Since 1991 he has been designing furniture, products and exhibitions - now based in Berlin; numerous works can be found in the collections of MoMA New York and the Centre Pompidou. He has received the Compasso d'Oro several times. He has been Professor of Design at the HFBK Hamburg since 2020 and a member of the Akademie der Künste in Berlin since 2022.
