Sculptural room divider in perfection - PK111 by Fritz Hansen
The PK111 room divider by Fritz Hansen elegantly combines architectural presence with handcrafted sophistication. Originally created in 1956 for the designer's own home, the six-part object structures rooms completely freely and stands stably on its own. With a sophisticated height of 140 centimetres, the expressive screen creates a private atmosphere when seated, while maintaining an open feeling of space when standing. Made from compression-molded veneer with a surface of striking Oregon pine, it creates warm, organic accents in design-oriented living and contract areas. This sculptural design object intelligently structures your rooms without visually constricting them.

Poul Kjærholm - Masterful constructions and uncompromising clarity
A trained cabinetmaker, Poul Kjærholm honed his understanding of precision craftsmanship at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen. He had a particular passion for researching different construction materials, which he brought the same artistic finesse to as classic natural materials. After the first prototypes for Fritz Hansen and a long, formative collaboration with the manufacturer Ejvind Kold Christensen from 1955, he left behind a unique design legacy. In 1982, Fritz Hansen finally took over the production and distribution of the exclusive Kjærholm collection in order to preserve these iconic designs for posterity.
