Description
The “Standard 15th Anniversary Limited Edition” stool from the Plopp series is a style icon and, as such, Zieta’s most successful product.

Although it looks inflated, it is made of solid, polished stainless steel. Its shape is a result of the special manufacturing process. The unique, playful form of the Plopp stool arises from the innovative FiDU forming process. In this process, the material is inflated with air under internal pressure, causing the thin steel plates to stretch into its extraordinary shape. Because no two processes are alike and the material does not deform identically each time, every customer receives their own unique piece.

Since its market launch, the Plopp stool has been shown at numerous exhibitions worldwide and has won many highly regarded awards, including the Red Dot Design Award 2008, the Federal Prize “Good Design” 2008 and the Forum AID Award 2009.
