The Shiro 17 rechargeable lamp is a master of flexibility and combines Japanese-inspired aesthetics with complete mobility. Designed as a cordless, rechargeable light object, it follows you effortlessly from indoors to outdoors, creating an atmosphere of calm wherever you go. A sculptural accent on the shelf during the day, it becomes a magical light source on the balcony or a dinner companion in the garden in the evening. The Shiro 17 emits a soft, downward-directed light and proves that sophisticated design does not have to recognise any boundaries between living space and nature.

Antoni Arola - researcher of light
The Shiro luminaire was created in 2024 by Spanish designer Antoni Arola, one of the most influential figures in contemporary lighting design. Born in Tarragona in 1960, he founded his own studio in Barcelona in 1994 after previously working for renowned design studios. Arola's work is characterised by a tireless exploration of light in all its facets - a fascination that is reflected in poetic installations, illuminated objects and interior projects. His designs have been honoured with the highest national and international awards, including the Spanish National Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the Compasso d'Oro.
