In the "Comfort CPL White" version, the purist design by Rolf Heide is combined with a particularly comfortable sitting and reclining height, which makes it easier to get up and allows the use of higher mattresses. The radiant white of the robust surface emphasises the minimalist aesthetic and makes the bed a bright, friendly centrepiece in any room - whether as a comfortable single bed or a space-saving stacked guest bed.

- Dimensions: Bed height 31 cm (comfort version) for a comfortable sitting height and the use of higher mattresses; available in various widths and lengths
- Note: From a width of 120 cm, the manufacturer recommends using a centre rail for stability reasons. With two slatted frames, the centre rail is an absolute must.
- Material: extremely stable plywood, finished with a highly durable, UV-resistant and easy-care CPL coating in satin white
- Design detail: the natural birch plywood edges are deliberately left visible and provide a warm, organic accent to the white surface

Rolf Heide - master of the system concept
The stacking bed was designed in 1966 by Rolf Heide (1932-2020), one of the most influential German interior and furniture designers. His credo was to create system furniture that was simple, logical, useful and timelessly beautiful. The stacking bed is a prime example of this philosophy: it is more than just a bed, it is an intelligent solution for flexible living. With this design, Rolf Heide has not only created a design milestone that has been honoured with numerous awards, but has also written a piece of German design history that has lost none of its modernity and relevance to this day.
