The Elephant
Hardly any other animal is as popular as the elephant. Admired for its majestic size and loved for its proverbial good-naturedness, it is part of our everyday lives as a cuddly toy, a fairytale figure and also as a heraldic animal.
The development
Charles and Ray Eames also succumbed to the charm of these pachyderms and developed a toy elephant made of plywood in 1945 - but it never went into series production. In plastic, the Eames Elephant is now available for the first time to the target group for which it was originally intended: children.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
Whether used as a toy (also outdoors) or as an object for the children's room - the friendly-looking animal with its striking, oversized ears is sure to make the hearts of many children and parents beat faster.
