Comfort & elegance: Layout Armchair 214 by HAY

The Layout Armchair 214, designed by Julien Renault, combines comfort, functionality and circularity. The striking design detail - the opening in the backrest - provides additional support and at the same time gives the chair a light, transparent appearance. With its upholstered seat and backrest, the 214 is particularly inviting, while the slender tubular legs combine stability and elegant lightness.

All components can be completely dismantled, which extends the chair's service life and allows it to be refurbished at a later date. The seat shell is made from at least 96 % recycled post-consumer plastic. The frame is either chrome-plated or powder-coated, while the seat and backrest can be upholstered in fabric or olive leaf-tanned leather. This makes the Layout Armchair 214 suitable for a wide range of applications - from private homes to restaurants, offices and public facilities.
