Classic side table: NEW VERSION Occasional Table LTR HPL black by Vitra
Although the LTR occasional table was designed by Charles and Ray Eames back in 1950, its look remains as contemporary as ever. Thanks to its simple and unobtrusive design, the low table with the filigree round rod frame cuts a fine figure anywhere and is therefore versatile - whether as a side table next to the couch, as a bedside table or as a decorative element on which you can arrange your plants, for example.
Charles and Ray Eames - design duo
The Eames couple are among the most important personalities in the field of design in the 20th century. In addition to designing furniture, they also made films, took photographs and put together exhibitions. Vitra is the only authorised manufacturer of Eames products for Europe and the Middle East.
Material and format
The LTR side table is 39.2 metres wide, 33.5 cm deep and 25 cm high. It is available in different versions. This table top is made of plywood from European poplar, the top is made of laminated hardboard and the edges are lacquered. The base frame is made of powder-coated steel wire or stainless steel.
