Designed by Charles & Ray Eames
Charles and Ray Eames are among the most influential designers of the 20th century. Material and properties
The cover is specially designed for the Vitra Wire Chair Bikini Outdoor and is made of high-quality, weatherproof materials. The 2 cm thick padding is made of quick-drying polyurethane foam (OEKO-TEX certified).® It is antibacterial and resistant to UV radiation, water, and mold. This makes the cover ideal for permanent outdoor use.
Two high-quality outdoor fabrics are available for the cover:
- Apollo – a particularly durable fabric with excellent UV resistance and high weather resistance.
- Elio – a high-quality outdoor canvas with a pleasant, homely feel and weatherproof properties.
Both fabrics are quick-drying and can be machine washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle .
