Four wins: 4/4 Coffee table/Modular Bookshelf by B-Line
4/4 from B-Line is a real jack-of-all-trades. The four individual parts of the same size can be placed next to each other as well as on top of each other. This makes 4/4 extremely variable and makes this coffee table and bookcase in one.
Material and format
Four individual parts form 4/4, the versatile and practical table made of ABS injection moulding. Thanks to the inserts, also made of ABS, the sectors can be placed on top of each other to form a modular bookcase. When the elements are placed side by side, a side table can be created in no time at all, in either round or curved form.
As a side table 4/4 comes to a width of 100 cm and a depth of 100 cm. The height is 30 cm. The B-Line design table weighs 12.10 kilograms.
The design
Rodolfo Bonetto (1929-1991) was an Italian designer. He did not learn the craft of design, Bonetto acquired his knowledge as an autodidact. But this did not detract from his abilities. He was awarded the Compasso d'Oro six times and also worked as a lecturer at a university for several years. Bonetto has designed almost everything that came under his fingers: from car interiors to alarm clocks.
