As one of the best-selling Alessi items, the 9093 kettle with its bird figure has always been an absolute high-flyer. The design dates back to 1985 and was created by Michael Graves. The designer skilfully combined the influences of European art with American pop culture. The result is a unique visual language. The kettle is both elegant and playful. To mark its 40th anniversary, it is now presented in an impressively sophisticated version that embodies a timeless aesthetic with its elegant, all-black design - and thus emphasises its position as an icon of contemporary design. The deep black colour contrasts vividly with the bright orange of the small bird motif.
Material and format
The kettle is made of stainless steel. The handle and base are made of synthetic thermoplastic. Thanks to its magnetic base made of steel, the 9093 BB is also suitable for induction hobs. The height and diameter are 22 cm.
