With the Alga rug, nanimarquina brings the organic elegance of the seabed into your living space. Inspired by the simple, raw aesthetics of seaweed and marine textures, Alga deliberately combines irregular shapes, soft colours and natural materials to create a design piece that radiates tranquillity and originality. Each rug is unique - like a found object from nature that inspires with its simplicity.
Nanimarquina
Industrial designer Nani Marquina launched her eponymous label in 1987. With her modern rugs, she was breaking new ground in Spain at the time - there was simply nothing like it. In order to offer her customers the greatest possible variety, Nanimarquina works with national and international designers.
Material and format
The colours available are made from the following materials:
- Fibre (ochre): 50% Afghan wool + 20% New Zealand wool + 21% virgin wool + 9% jute
- Fibre (grey): 50% Afghan wool + 29% New Zealand wool + 21% virgin wool
- Fibre (natural white): 55 % Afghan wool + 45 % New Zealand wool
