You don't see a chair like this every day. It is crazy and minimalistic at the same time, it comes in warm wood and cool metal. And if you opt for the armrest version, you've doubled, if not tripled, the eye-catching qualities once again. Apropos eyecatcher: We owe the design to the Munich-based Konrad Lohöfener. Anyone who can stand such a chair at the dining room table immediately has a topic of conversation.
Namesake
The unconventional chair bears the no less unconventional name "Bruto". Bruto's name says it all: "Bruto" is the Italian word for 'raw, coarse, naked' and just as raw, coarse and naked.
Bruto chairs without armrests can be stacked without any problems and are therefore great space savers.
Material and size
The seat and backrest are made of moulded wood with ash veneer, the underframe of powder-coated steel wire and the struts of untreated ash. The wireiness provides on the one hand for the refined appearance and on the other hand for the filigree optics. The Nils Holger Moormann logo is emblazoned on the back of the backrest.
Bruto is 81 cm high, 44.5 cm wide and 48.5 cm deep. Bruto with armrests is 61.1 cm wide. The seat height is a comfortable 46.5 cm.
