Kevi Air swivel chair Montana

Network: the Kevi® Air swivel chair from Montana. The central idea of the office and task chair manufacturer Engelbrechts: if you sit comfortably, you work more effectively. Thanks to numerous recesses in the plastic shell,  air circulates wonderfully - hence the term 'Air' - and you don't end up "sticking" to the chair.

But the Kevi Air office chair also looks good: you can choose between eight different colours - from red to turquoise to black. A little tip: the designer office chairs can also be combined perfectly, for example a white Kevi with a black Kevi.

Different heights

You also have a free choice of seat heights:

- A: Seat height 38-51 cm (= standard height)

- B: Seat height 48-61 cm

A and B chairs have braked double castors with soft running surfaces (for hard floors). You can also order hard castors (for carpeted floors) as an option. In this case, you will receive a set of hard castors (= 5 pieces) in addition to the standard soft castors.

- C: Seat height 58-71 cm

- D: Seat height 68-81 cm

C and D are supplied with glides. You cannot order alternative castors online here. However, due to the height, we recommend the optional foot ring.

Design

Both the seat and back of Kevi Air are made of 8 to 9 millimetre thick PP, a glass fibre-reinforced polypropylene. The frame is made of satin-polished aluminium and is fitted with black castors or glides. The office chair has automatic height adjustment. As already mentioned, we also offer the Kevi Air swivel chair in three different heights and with a satin-polished aluminium foot ring on request.

The design

The Kevi Chair office chair is not a new invention. The original Kevi wasdesigned back in 1958 by a certain  JørgenRasmussen. And this original Kevi was given a makeover in 2012.

Why 'Kevi' at all? The chair was designed for the company Kettel& Villadsen. Its director suffered from back problems, which was ultimately the decisive factor in designing a back-friendly office chair. This is how the swivel chair got its name.
