Abstract painting is depicted in timeless, knotted works of art - the Legends of Carpets collection from Walter Knoll is inspired by the landscapes and colours of the African continent. The carpets are hand-knotted in certified manufactories in Nepal. Experienced craftsmen use Tibetan highland wool, fine Chinese silk and nettle fibre yarn. The material is processed by hand using traditional Tibetan knotting methods and is therefore ecologically sustainable and socially beneficial. The individual production makes each rug unique and the personal interpretation of each individual weaver. The result is high quality.

Designer Helmut Scheufele

Artist and recognised expert for textiles, colours and design - Helmut Scheufele is a special talent. People, who serve as his inspiration, are at the centre of his creative work. Scheufele has already received over forty awards. His passion for first-class craftsmanship connects him with Walter Knoll and makes his Legends of Carpets collection, a series of hand-knotted designer carpets, tangible.
