The w171 Alma was designed by Tham & Videgård, a renowned Stockholm-based architecture firm. Since its foundation in 1999, the firm has gained an international reputation for its innovative building projects. Tham & Videgård have twice been honoured with the Kasper Salin Prize - Sweden's most important architecture award. Their work has been presented at international exhibitions such as the Architecture Biennale in Venice. Both architects are also members of the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts.
