The 3D Dining Chair from Gubi is a milestone in modern furniture design: created by Danish studio Komplot Design, it was the first chair to be realised using the innovative technique of three-dimensionally shaped veneer. The moulded seat shell with outward-facing edges offers a high level of seating comfort and an elegant silhouette. In the version with a black, matt frame and seat shell made of American walnut veneer, the chair impresses with its warm appearance and timeless elegance. Gubi, founded in Copenhagen in 1967, is an international design company that combines iconic classics and contemporary designs. The Danish design studio Komplot Design (Boris Berlin & Poul Christiansen) created one of the most innovative chairs of its time in 2003 with the 3D Dining Chair. Using 3D veneer technology, they created a piece of furniture,
which is now one of the design icons of the 21st century.
