The traditional company Gebrüder Thonet Vienna goes back to the German-Austrian master cabinetmaker Michael Thonet, one of the most famous furniture manufacturers of the industrial age. The legendary bentwood furniture with its Viennese wickerwork elements have become timeless bestsellers and ensure that the manufacturer still enjoys a great international reputation today. The iconic N. 14 chair was produced over 50 million times between 1850 and 1930, making it one of the most famous and best-selling pieces of furniture in the world.
