Stylish: Elephant stool from Norr11
When designing the beautiful Elephant armchair, Hansen and Hyldahl were inspired by the Danish upholstered chairs of the 1950s. The back resembles the ear of an elephant and lends its name to the simple yet exceptionally elegant lounge chair. With this designer seating furniture, however, you don't have to choose between aesthetics and comfort! The ergonomic shape offers maximum seating comfort and the two shells nestle comfortably against the body in a gentle curve. The Elephant stool can be used as a footrest for the Elephant lounge chair or as a lounge stool in its own right.
Design team Hansen + Hyldahl
As founder, designer Tommy Hyldahl is responsible for the manufacturer's creative DNA. His great passion for materials and production processes is evident in every single product. Since 2015, he has been working together with Kristian Sofus Hansen, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The two share a passion for Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian tradition, which is reflected in each of their design pieces.
NORR11 - Scandinavian design
The Danish furniture manufacturer NORR11 was founded in 2011. The company's focus is to redefine and rethink the understanding of Scandinavian design and thus create timeless pieces of furniture that combine the present and the past. This goal is achieved through collaboration with innovative young designers. This results in products that combine appealing design, great craftsmanship and outstanding quality.
Material and format
The Elephant stool is made from solid FSC-certified oak. It is 55 cm wide, 39 cm deep and 39 cm high. You can choose from many high-quality fabrics and numerous colours.
