Cleans up: the Happy Bin L basket by Vitra. An office without a waste paper basket? Impossible! You cannot make an omelette whithout breaking eggs - and where you have to write a lot of paper waste occurs: the special task for the Happy Bin basket.
The name "Happy" is by no means a coincidence: the slightly curved shape and the bright colours should bring a certain cheerfulness and counteract the office gloom. The design is by Michel Charlot. Small tip: You can also order a smaller Happy Bin paper basket online in our shop.
Material and size
Happy Bin by Vitra is 37.5 cm high and made of polypropylene (PP). The thermoplastic is a real multitalent. From aircraft model building to furniture - such as the world-famous Panton Chair from Vitra - to car interiors, the spectrum is virtually inexhaustible.
The upper diameter of the Happy Bin is 30 cm, the lower diameter is 23 cm. You can remove the lid as desired, for example, to clean the waste paper basket.
Founded in 1950, the Vitra label has its roots in Switzerland. The headquarters is located in Birsfelden in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. Even the building itself is a real design highlight. This was designed by the star architect Frank Gehry and is worth a visit.
If you want to have a concentrated charge of Vitra and want to look at all the design classics, but do not want to wander far into the distance, just take a trip to the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein.
