Every pot needs a lid: the Happy Bin wastepaper bin from Vitra is the proud owner of one. And since it makes little sense for a wastepaper basket to have to be removed every time a scrap of paper is thrown in, Happy Bin also has a round recess in the centre.
Different colours
A wastepaper bin can also have certain eye-catching qualities. This is undoubtedly the case with Happy Bin S. In addition to the unusual shape and lid, the beautiful colours are a real feast for the eyes. You can choose between basic dark, white, sky grey, poppy red and yellow.
Material and format
The Happy Bin wastepaper bin is made of polypropylene, an extremely robust plastic. After all, a wastepaper bin - also a designer wastepaper bin - is first and foremost an object of utility. Happy Bin is 29.5 cm high. The upper diameter is 23.5 cm, the lower 18 cm.
Good to know: If you have to dispose of bills and other correspondence en masse every day, we recommend the Happy Bin in size L.
The design
Designer Michel Charlot was inspired by a sculpture by sculptor, painter and poet Hans Arp when designing the Happy Bin. Thanks to its irregular shape, the wastepaper bin looks like it has grown naturally and is a great eye-catcherin any office. Happy Bin undoubtedly has what it takes to become a wastepaper bin classic.
