How practical when your favourite chair is also available in an outdoor version! Kartell has answered the pleas of design fans and launched the Matrix outdoor chair to match the Matrix chair.
Versatile in use
Of course, as an outdoor chair, the areas of use are usually the patio, balcony or garden. But how about placing the Matrix Chair in the bathroom for a change? After all, it's a great place to sit after a shower too.
Material and format
When a piece of furniture is allowed outdoors, special materials are an absolute must. Stainless steel is therefore used for the frame. The seat shell is made of solid-coloured polycarbonate - solid-coloured means either white or black . Matrix Outdoor is 61 cm wide, 55 cm deep and 77 cm high. The seat height is a comfortable 44 cm.
The design
Tokujin Yoshioka is a Japanese product designer who has been given a very special treat: the Olympic torch was designed by him. In general, the themes of lightness and nature are important to Tokujin Yoshioka. in 2000, he founded his own design studio in Tokyo: Tokujin Yoshioka Inc. In 2011, he was honoured to be named "A&W Designer of the Year 2011".
