New look: Seven swivel chair 3117 Fritz Hansen
Arne Jacobsen designed the Series 7, which also includes the 3107 four-legged chair. In addition to the well-known four-legged chair, Fritz Hansen also has the swivel chair 3117 in its range - here in the version without armrests.
The seven-seater chairs are produced using the laminated gluing technique. This was perfected in the 1920s and 1930s by Sören C. Hansen, the grandson of company founder Fritz Hansen. Arne Jacobsen fully utilised the possibilities of this technique in the design of this classic.
The swivel chairs in the Fritz Hansen collection have a chrome-plated frame.
The Seven swivel chair is available in nine different wood veneers and in two other versions: coloured ash (wood grain visible) or lacquer (smooth, shiny surface without visible grain) - in all colour variants.
Note: The chair is supplied with soft castors as standard. If you would like hard castors, please make a note of this when ordering.
