Originally designed to furnish the lobbies of the Rockefeller Center in New York, today it is impossible to imagine armchairs and sofas without them. The small stools by Charles and Ray Eames can be used perfectly as a table. In addition to the dark walnut version, the popular B stool is now also available in a light-coloured chestnut version.
Charles and Ray Eames - design duo
The Eames couple are among the most important personalities in the field of design in the 20th century. In addition to designing furniture, they also made films, took photographs and put together exhibitions. Vitra is the only authorised manufacturer of Eames products for Europe and the Middle East.
Material and format
The designer stool is available in either solid walnut or solid chestnut. It is glued in several layers, turned and clear lacquered. The wood used comes from Western Europe. The Eames Stools B stool is 38 cm high and has a diameter of 33 cm.
