Outdoor furniture from Ethnicraft

"Organic wooden shapes bring us closer to nature. Curves and more natural lines reflect our environment. They are shapes that are familiar to us."
- Alain van Havre, designer

Spending time outdoors
Ethnicraft knows how to inspire with a variety of beautifully designed outdoor furniture. Some designs are not only offered in the classic natural teak look, but also with a black lacquer finish. This creates a very special and new impression of the outdoor designs.
The natural teak range is supplied without any surface treatment or protective treatment. Over time, untreated furniture will turn grey with prolonged exposure to sunlight and rain. This colour change is completely natural and purely superficial - it does not affect the strength or quality of the wood.
The black teak is brushed and varnished and finished with a colour coat. This finish has been specially developed to withstand natural influences such as high and low temperatures, UV light, humidity and moisture.

How to properly maintain your outdoor furniture
Although no additional treatment is required for all Ethnicraft Outdoor Teak products, you can use a special teak cleaning product such as Ethnicraft Outdoor Teak Cleaner to remove dirt deposits from the items.
To protect against stains and green deposits and to slow down the greying process of natural teak, you can use a teak protector such as Ethnicraft Outdoor Teak Protector.

As teak is rich in natural oils, rain showers can cause these oils to be released and leave stains on new teak furniture. It is recommended to rinse the garden furniture thoroughly with a garden hose before using it for the first time.
Use placemats to avoid stains on the furniture. Stains should be removed immediately with a damp cloth and natural soap.
Do not use soap containing detergents or other chemicals. Use a dry cloth or soft brush for regular wiping to dust off crumbs and leaves - do not rub. Wipe in the direction of the grain.
