Comfort, design and sustainability
Founded in 2007, the Danish design manufacturer Houe inspires many people around the world with its designs - first and foremost, of course, with the iconic outdoor seating furniture of the Click collection, designed by Henrik Pedersen, the co-founder of the company. It's also thanks to him that Houe has taken on its own unique role in the Scandinavian design scene, which is marked by diverse, international influences. The soft, modern designed outdoor furniture provides an atmospheric ambience and plenty of comfort on the terrace or in the garden. In addition, there are various objects for indoor use, such as dining tables or chairs.
The selection of the best materials is one of the core disciplines of the Danish company. The focus is not only on a harmoniously coordinated use of materials such as plastic, wood or metal, but also on the issue of sustainability. An example? The Falk chair series consists entirely of so-called post-consumer plastic, i.e. plastic waste from households that is not normally used to make another product. This prevents the waste from harming our ecosystem and, at the same time, no new plastics need to be produced for its manufacture. Numerous awards such as the German Design Arward or the Danish Design Arward prove that sustainability and aesthetics work wonderfully together.
