Practitioner: Yo height adjustable side table from La Palma
Inspired by the specific needs of the hotel industry and the business world, the Yo Side Table was created to be perfect for lounges. The flexible and height-adjustable side table also looks good in private spaces. It serves as a practical shelf for laptops, books, magazines or personal items. Thanks to its height-adjustable feature, it can be perfectly combined with all kinds of sofas and armchairs.
Designer Romano Marcato
Romano Marcato was born in 1951 near Padua. He graduated in 1970 with a degree in mechanics from the Industrial College. Until 1978, he worked as a planning manager for an important small hardware industry, designing high-speed cutting tools for electrical connections. With his knowledge of precision mechanics and complex production systems, he also began to develop machines and automation systems for the automotive and electrical industries. Together with his brother Dario, he founded La Palma in 1979. For 30 years Marcato has been working together with various designers and accompanying the technical development of the products. He has also designed some of the most popular products in the La Palma collection, such as the Brunch and Panco tables and the Will stool.
Material and size
The height-adjustable side table has a white or black powder-coated metal frame. The table top is available in different versions: HPL fenix, bleached oak or black stained and dark walnut. The Yo has a diameter of 50 cm and a height of 52-70 cm.
